ePropulsion E02 — Motor Overcurrent / Propeller Blocked
General · EP-E02
Root Cause
Motor drawing excessive current. Two causes: propeller physically blocked by fouling, rope or debris; or internal motor/circuit board failure causing overcurrent.
Symptoms
E02 error code displayedmotor sudden shutdown under loadunusual resistance or drag on propellermotor overloaded
Conditions
  • ePropulsion Evo or Navy 6.0 motor
  • fouled propeller or internal circuit fault
Solution
First check for propeller obstruction — turn off power, clear any fouling, confirm propeller spins freely by hand. If propeller is clear, the fault is electronic — power cycle and contact dealer.
Actions
  • Turn off main power switch immediately
  • Inspect propeller for rope, weed or debris
  • Clear fouling and confirm propeller rotates freely by hand
  • If propeller is clear, power cycle — wait 10 seconds before restart
  • If fault persists after clearing, contact ePropulsion dealer
