ePropulsion E21 — Driver / Motor Communication Fault

Root Cause
Communication failure between controller and motor driver. May be a version mismatch between Evo Side Mount Control and motor, or a physical cable connection issue.
Symptoms
Conditions
- ePropulsion Navy or Evo motor with Evo Side Mount Control
- version mismatch or cable fault
Solution
First verify the control system version matches the motor version. If versions match, check cable connections and restart. If fault persists, dealer assistance required.
Actions
- Check control system version matches motor version
- If mismatch found, refer to Version Setting procedure (section 2.4)
- Check communication cable connection and seating
- Restart motor
- If fault persists, contact ePropulsion dealer
